Welcome to Normandy Tree and Garden Services.

My name is Christopher Maume, founder of Normandy Tree and Garden. I am a time served gardener City & Guild / IOG Qualified and French Registered-through the Micro-Entrepreneur scheme.

I moved from the UK to Normandy in the late Autumn of 2015. Since those early days I have built up a healthy customer base that has been developing at a steady rate, Much of my work now is acquired from repeat business and recommendations. My business Ethos is to create the complete garden care service one that caters for everybody’s needs wether you need Tree & Garden Care or Landscape Soft or Hard.

Prior to moving to Normandy over many years I have covered & practiced all aspects of the gardening trade working with the finest most experienced trades people.
First of all I started of as a junior Nurseryman growing plants shrubs & bulbs under glass, after a few years of practical & vocational training I moved on to the next phase of my horticultural training which was to be based outside in Parks & Gardens. I was promoted to head gardener in charge of two parks & The Town Hall Gardens. My duties were to ensure that all recreation area’s were subjected to regular seasonal maintenance, programmed and carried out by a team of up to six gardeners resident between the two parks & the Town Hall Gardens & Grounds.
The final stage of my apprenticeship training was to work again outside – Foreman. Working in the heart of the community on housing Estates & Recreation Grounds. My responsibilities were Landscape & Maintenance of designated area’s.

Many years later I left my employ with local government to become self-employed. With now many years experience behind me it gave me the confidence to go self employed – I took intense practical training – soft & Hard Landscape practices. I started as a landscape gardening contractor doing construction & Design for residential gardens. After several years I became an employer of several landscape personal taking on work for the Commercial, Industrial & Local governments sectors doing Regeneration Work incorporating Landscape Hard & Soft & Garden Maintenance.

We aim to create a totally Complete Garden Care Service covering all aspects & needs of the home owner business user & the every day gardening enthusiast.
