Chris started of as an apprentice Gardener for Trafford Borough Council Parks & Amenities Department, now known as Leisure Services.
From here he started his training in the Glass Houses as a junior nurseryman on the growing side.
After two years of hands on experience combined with vocational studies at the City & Guilds Horticultural he then studied for the Institute of Green Keepers exam (IOG) where he practiced & studied turf management on all sports & leisure greens services. Venturing forwards Chris moved outside to practice as General Gardener in Parks & Gardens.
After completing his City & Guilds Exams Chris was promoted to foreman Gardener responsible for the up keep of two large parks & Trafford Town Hall Gardens.
From here Chris left Trafford Leisure services to become a self employed Gardener and after intense training learnt Hard & Soft Landscape practices.
After Trading as a landscape Gardener for several years and business growing I became an Employer taking on eventually six men working in the private sector on residential contracts. Later as the years rolled by my business took on commercial, industrial & regeneration contracts with local & regional enterprises.
